Today's Ministry Opportunity;
Taking a small basket of fresh fruit and prayer shawl I'd made
to a neighbor that just lost a spouse down the street and
leaving it on the door step.

I'm having trouble with the blog part of this
as you may or may not have seen.
Getting the setting right for it and the avatar is trying my patience.
Hubby is off early his back is not 100% yet.
He wrenched it some how the Fri. before last.
I'm glad he could get off early today.
There are air quality advisories out for our areas;
smoke in the area from central Idaho fires.
On the news they said Idaho is the forth from the top from being
the hungriest in the nation. Today's ministry opportunity to help with the food drive; cans or jars are best the ones with the most nutritional value cup o soup is better than roman.
Talked briefly with neighbor over the fence;
he's going to have surgery on his broken ankle.
Said he was not much of a reader.
So books will not go in the gift basket.
So I need ideas!
I got the rose and blackberries and bulbs moved today
and tulips are planted had a great day working in the yard
I'm considering a spot for a prayer garden.

Today my qt was getting some
verses of the day cards done;
also on pages for my planner to use for next year.
This was very encouraging for me and
I was refreshed after I was done! |

I organized my book shelves and
got a box of kid books ready for dear grandson
to take home with him.
I made great progress.
Had to do this to make room for the books that had
"migrated" to the living room.
I made some addations to my TBR[to be red] pile too.
Finished reading two books over the weekend this was encouraging
for me. |

I had a lot of "house issues" since last Thurs. come up over
this house and the one at the job site
and my ear was acting up.
Lots of hard prayer over these
has me on the up swing again now! |
